The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro appear to be heading for an early launch, well before their predecessors reach their one-year mark in March. Poco has not confirmed a release window yet, but both phones have already surfaced in global certification databases. The F8 Pro even had its retail box leaked, revealing “Sound by Bose” branding.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra has now shown up on Geekbench. This listing confirms the phone will run the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The tested variant also carried 16GB of RAM and Android 16. The final software will likely include Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3. These details suggest Poco is preparing a flagship-level device.
Other specifications have not been verified. However, industry watchers expect the Poco F8 Ultra to be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max. If so, the phone should feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 1200×2608 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, 3,500-nit peak brightness, and 2,560Hz PWM.
Storage may reach 1TB. The rear camera system could include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. A 32MP selfie camera is also expected.
Moreover, the device may include a Bose audio system with two stereo speakers and a rear woofer. A 7,560 mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging would complete the package. All signs point to Poco preparing one of its strongest hardware pushes yet.
