The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted bail to popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, widely known as “Ducky Bhai”. The court announced the decision on Monday, November 24, 2025. Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhary approved the bail against a surety bond of PKR 1 million (approximately $3,600).
Ducky Bhai had been in custody since his arrest on August 17 at Lahore’s international airport. Officials from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) detained him as he attempted to leave the country.
The case against Rehman stems from allegations that he promoted illegal online gambling platforms. Authorities claim he advertised betting apps, specifically 1XBet and Binomo, on his social media channels in exchange for money.
Consequently, the NCCIA registered a First Information Report (FIR No. 196/25) against him. The report cites multiple sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), 2016, including electronic forgery, fraud, spamming, and spoofing. Furthermore, the FIR references sections of the Pakistan Penal Code related to cheating and offering unlawful prizes.
According to authorities, the investigation began on June 13 following reports that several digital influencers were endorsing these platforms. At the time of his arrest, Ducky Bhai was on the government’s “Prohibited/National Interest List,” which barred him from travelling abroad. During the operation, officers confiscated his mobile phone for evidence.
Saad-ur-Rehman is one of Pakistan’s most prominent content creators, boasting over nine million YouTube subscribers. While he is famous for gaming content and family vlogs, he frequently faces controversy.
Previously, a local court had approved a two-day physical remand for police to investigate the gambling allegations. However, this is not his first encounter with the law. In 2023, authorities briefly detained YouTuber “Ducky Bhai” and his wife, Aroob Jatoi, after a firearm appeared in an Instagram post. They were released after submitting written apologies. Additionally, the couple recently faced a deepfake video scandal targeting Aroob, for which they offered a significant reward for information.
The current bail decision allows Rehman to return home as the legal proceedings regarding the gambling promotion charges continue.
