Lahore’s chase of 174 collapsed quickly, with Shoriful Islam dismissing Mohammad Naeem early, before Nahid Rana and Michael Bracewell triggered a steady sequence of wickets.
Bracewell removed Fakhar Zaman for 21 and later dismissed Sikandar Raza for 14, while Sufiyan Muqeem struck twice to remove Asif Ali and Shaheen Afridi.
Nahid Rana dismissed Usama Mir cheaply, while Sufiyan Muqeem removed Ubaid Shah, before Aamer Jamal ended the innings by dismissing Wellalage for 20 runs.
Batting first, Zalmi posted 173-7, with Babar Azam scoring 43 and Kusal Mendis top-scoring with 74, supported by Michael Bracewell’s quickfire 21 runs.
Shaheen Afridi claimed three wickets, dismissing Haris, Mendis, and Farhan Yousaf, while Usama Mir and Mustafizur Rahman added breakthroughs to restrict Zalmi’s batting progress effectively.
