It is an ingenious, reliable and well-designed app that allows one to manage household appliances to perform everyday tasks hassle-free, even when they are not home. It is powered by Homewhiz, (a smartphone software that manages and controls home appliances). Dawlance made use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in their app, which interconnects all major home appliances which are used daily. This service was long overdue in Pakistan, where domestic life plays a vital role in everyone’s life.
The appliances that sync with SYNC are refrigerators, AC inverters, microwave ovens, and washing machines. It is convenient for energy-saving husbands, working wives and mothers, and forgetful grandparents. The IoT allows for the perfect merging of all appliances and instant instructions are carried out. This may be the first time IoT is used for digital appliances in Pakistan.
