ISLAMABAD: The federal government has approved Sector H-16 in Islamabad as the official location for the Daanish University of Emerging Technologies. The institution will be established on a 102.5-acre (820.75 Kanal) site allocated by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), with funding sourced from the £190 million recovered by the National Crime Agency (NCA).

Pakistan has received £190 million from the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA), which has been transmitted from the Supreme Court to the federal government’s account.  In accordance with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision, this sum will be allocated to the construction of a revolutionary Daanish University.

This initiative extends the Daanish School Project’s mission of providing quality education to underprivileged students, now expanding into higher education with a focus on emerging technologies. The university will feature modern academic facilities, cutting-edge research centers, and a structured curriculum designed to equip students with the skills needed for future industries.

By offering free, high-quality international-standard education, Daanish University aims to empower students from disadvantaged backgrounds. With state-of-the-art infrastructure and renowned faculty, it is set to become a leading institution for academic excellence and innovation in Pakistan.
