iQOO 15: Leaks Reveal Triple 50MP Cameras, and a Game-Changing Q3 Chip
iQOO’s upcoming flagship, the iQOO 15, has appeared on Geekbench with impressive results. The device scored 3,824 in single-core and 12,402 in multi-core tests, setting new records for smartphones. The prototype was running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the company’s most powerful chipset yet.
The tested model came equipped with 16GB of RAM, though other memory options are expected at launch. It was also running Android 16, a strong indicator that the iQOO 15 will ship with Google’s latest software out of the box.
Design leaks have already revealed a circular camera on the module with an LED Light Strip Around the Ring. The phone is also rumored to feature a Samsung-made display with QHD+ resolution, promising one of the sharpest and brightest screens in its class.
On the back, iQOO is said to include three 50MP cameras, one of which will be a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. To power all this, the company is reportedly fitting a massive 7,000 mAh battery.
Perhaps the most intriguing detail is the addition of iQOO’s in-house Q3 chip. According to early leaks, this silicon will unlock full-scene ray tracing in Genshin Impact, a first for mobile gaming, even ahead of Apple’s devices. iQOO plans to reveal more about the Q3 on September 23, the same day Qualcomm is expected to officially announce the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The timing suggests a coordinated launch strategy.
