xiaomi 15t series

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro in Pakistan, with pre-orders now open. The Xiaomi 15T is priced at Rs. 169,999, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro starts at Rs. 233,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. Both phones bring upgraded displays, refined designs, more powerful camera systems, and larger batteries compared to last year’s 14T lineup.

Display and Design

The Xiaomi 15T series introduces larger 6.83-inch OLED panels, replacing the 6.67-inch screens on the 14T. Despite the size increase, the devices are slimmer and still manage to fit bigger batteries. The 15T Pro offers a 144Hz refresh rate, while the standard 15T delivers 120Hz. Both panels support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with peak brightness hitting 3,200 nits. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos enhance the multimedia experience.

Durability is also a focus. Both models are rated IP68 and can handle submersion in up to three meters of water. The displays are protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The Pro edition uses a slim 7.96mm aluminum frame and weighs 210g, while the 15T comes in at 7.5mm thick, weighs 194g, and is expected to feature a plastic frame. Buyers can choose Black, Gray, and Rose Gold for the 15T, while the 15T Pro is offered in Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold.

Performance and Software

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options up to 1TB. A 3D IceLoop cooling system ensures sustained performance during gaming and other intensive tasks.

The standard 15T runs on the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, a strong mid-to-high-end chip, coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Both phones ship with HyperOS 3. Connectivity is advanced, with Wi-Fi 7 supported on the Pro and Wi-Fi 6E on the 15T. Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and offline phone-to-phone communication are also available, offering a 1.9 km range on the Pro and 1.3 km on the standard model.

Camera Upgrades

The Pro model retains a 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion sensor (1/1.31”, f/1.62, OIS) for the main lens and introduces a new 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom (115mm, f/3.0, OIS). It is joined by a 12MP ultra-wide with a 120° field of view and a 32MP selfie shooter. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30 fps, while 4K can reach 120fps. A 10-bit Log mode is supported at 4K 60 fps.

The Xiaomi 15T comes with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor (1/1.55”, f/1.7, OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom (46mm), a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP front camera. Video features include HDR10+ recording at 4K 30fps and a 10-bit Log mode at 4K 60 fps.

Both models use Leica Summilux lenses and offer upgraded Portrait Master modes for improved shots across different lighting conditions.

Battery and Charging

Xiaomi has boosted the battery size to 5,500 mAh on both models, up from 5,000 mAh in the previous generation. The 15T Pro supports 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge, while the standard 15T reaches 67W via cable.

Availability in Pakistan

Xiaomi is offering one free screen replacement within six months of purchase, along with labor-free out-of-warranty repairs during the first year. Both smartphones are already listed for pre-order on MiStore.pk, the brand’s official reseller in Pakistan, and will soon arrive at offline and online retailers.
