Miary Zo Joins Tekken 8 Roster: Fans Concerned Over Balancing
Bandai Namco has officially revealed “Miary Zo” as the final DLC character for Tekken 8 Season 2. She will be available for all players on December 4, 2025, while Season 2 “Character Pass” and “Character & Stage Pass” owners can access her earlier on December 2.
Along with Miary Zo, a new stage called “Baobab Horizon” will launch. It draws inspiration from Madagascar’s iconic baobab trees and wildlife, offering a scenic backdrop for intense battles.

A Character Rooted in Madagascar
Miary Zo hails from Madagascar. She’s 18 years old, stands at 158 cm tall, and loves observing animals. Her fighting style is based on Morengy, a traditional Madagascan martial art, mixed with animal-like movements she learned through observation.
She’s accompanied by two ring-tailed lemurs, Vanilla and Cacao, who act as messengers of the “Silver Fighting God”; a divine entity she represents. Her playful personality shines through, as she refers to her opponents as “battle-friends forever.” This cultural and thematic depth gives her a unique identity among other characters in the Tekken roster.
One of the Best Rage Arts in the Game
Despite her light-hearted and cutesy appearance, Miary Zo is a highly expressive and well-animated character. Her Rage Art is already being praised by fans for its creativity and visual impact. Many consider it one of the best Rage Arts in Tekken 8, especially compared to some underwhelming ones in the base game.
Just realized Miary Zo’s rage art straight up takes to Madagasacar lol. Buys the opponent a flight and everything.
For some reason this Rage Art gave me Sonic Adventure vibes, City Escape? pic.twitter.com/YUCnd4nHxa

Lucky Chloe on Steroids? A Spammy, Stance-Heavy Playstyle
Miary Zo’s gameplay trailer hints at a spam-heavy playstyle. She relies on multiple stance mixups, wall-cling mechanics, and a staff stance that can crush lows. Early community reactions compare her to a buffed version of Lucky Chloe from Tekken 7.
This could make her a frustrating opponent to face online, as her toolkit looks designed to overwhelm. Fans are hoping Bandai Namco has balanced her carefully, especially after the competitive backlash caused by “Anna Williams” earlier in the game’s lifecycle.
Tekken 8’s Final Season 2 Character
Miary Zo’s addition wraps up all the Season 2’s DLC characters. She follows previous DLC fighters like Victor Chevalier and adds cultural diversity and mechanical variety to the game. With Miary Zo’s arrival and the new stage, fans have plenty to look forward to as the year ends.
Tekken 8 is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
