Vivo is reportedly preparing a new addition to its flagship lineup, and the upcoming device could arrive much sooner than expected. A leak from China claims that Vivo is developing the X300s, which is said to launch in the first quarter of 2026. The window makes its debut sometime between January and March, only months after the X300 and X300 Pro made their official entry.
The X300s is shaping up to be a subtle refresh rather than a major redesign, but one upgrade already stands out. The phone will reportedly feature a 7,000 mAh battery. This is a major jump from the X300’s 6,040 mAh cell and could give the new model a clear edge in endurance. Battery life has become a key factor for premium phones, so this change could help Vivo push the X300s as a longer-lasting option.
Inside, the device is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Plus. If MediaTek follows its usual pattern, this chip may only offer a minor boost over the standard 9500. It will likely act as a higher-binned version with small performance gains rather than a full generational shift.
Other details remain unconfirmed, and early leaks suggest the rest of the hardware may stay close to the current X300. This means users should expect a light refresh instead of a full upgrade cycle.
