Honor Magic V6 Leak Points to Bigger Battery, Wireless Charging, and Upgraded Camera

The foundation for Honor’s upcoming flagship foldable is already being laid, and preliminary information points to a significant upgrade cycle in the future. The Honor Magic V6, which has larger batteries, a new camera push, and Qualcomm’s most potent mobile processor, is the replacement for last year’s Magic V5, according to recent reports. By the middle of 2026, China is anticipated to see the device’s launch.

According to the source, Honor plans to power the Magic V6 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. That choice signals a clear focus on top-end performance. At the same time, Honor appears to be prioritizing endurance, with internal testing underway for two different battery configurations.

The first configuration includes a 6,900mAh dual-cell battery and is expected to target international markets. The second version steps up to a larger 7,200mAh dual-cell battery and is likely reserved for China. Charging speeds remain unknown for now. However, both versions reportedly support wireless charging.

Camera hardware also looks set for a major leap. The Magic V6 is said to feature a 200MP main camera, echoing an earlier rumor from this year. That sensor will reportedly pair with a periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, further strengthening Honor’s imaging ambitions.

Additional details round out a familiar but refined package. The Magic V6 is expected to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, improved dust and water resistance, and an ultra-thin design. If these early specifications hold, Honor’s next foldable could raise the bar again in a crowded premium market.
