OnePlus Turbo to Feature the Biggest Battery Ever in a OnePlus Phone

OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone lineup, and battery life is set to be its defining feature. The company has now confirmed key early details about the upcoming Turbo series.

A few days ago, Li Jie, president of OnePlus China, revealed that the Turbo lineup is in development. He said the series would carry the performance foundation of OnePlus’ flagships. At the same time, it would deliver the strongest battery life in its segment.

Li has since shared another important detail. The Turbo will feature the largest battery ever used in a OnePlus phone. This means it will surpass the Ace 6T, which currently holds the brand record with an 8,300 mAh battery.

Although OnePlus has not confirmed the exact capacity, a source on Weibo claims the Turbo will pack a 9,000 mAh battery. The source also says the first Turbo device will launch in China in January.

Leaks further suggest that the Turbo will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, matching the Ace 6T. Another tipster adds that the Turbo series will debut with two models. Both are expected to feature 9,000 mAh batteries, 165Hz displays, and Snapdragon 8 series processors.
