Vivo has added a fresh model to its Y500 lineup in China, bringing a bold look and a large battery to the series. The new vivo Y500i sits beside the Y500 and Y500 Pro, which arrived in the market last year. It aims to attract buyers who want long battery life without paying a high price.

The vivo Y500i runs on a 7,200mAh lithium-ion battery and supports 44W fast charging. As a result, users can go longer between charges and top up faster. The phone uses the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and offers up to 12GB of RAM. It also includes up to 512GB of internal storage.

On the front, the phone has a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. The display reaches 1,200 nits of peak brightness, so it stays clear outdoors. It also has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
