Huawei is ready to expand its foldable smartphone lineup in China. The company will introduce a new model next week. It is called the Huawei Pura X Max. The device has a larger form factor than the original Pura X, which was known for its wide, foldable design.
The Huawei Pura X Max will officially launch in China on April 20. It will arrive alongside the Pura 90 Pro series. Huawei has already shown the phone’s design ahead of the launch. The company has also shared its color choices and memory variants. Pre-orders are already open through the Huawei online store.
The phone features a triple rear camera system. It is placed inside a pill-shaped horizontal camera module. Cameras are also included on both displays. This means users get selfie support on the outer screen and the inner foldable screen. The overall design keeps a strong focus on camera versatility.
Huawei will offer the Pura X Max in five color options. These include Interstellar Blue, Olive Gold, Phantom Night Black, Vibrant Orange, and Zero Degree White. Multiple configurations will also be available. Buyers can choose from 12GB/128GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB RAM and storage variants.
Huawei has not yet confirmed the full specifications. However, the device is expected to feature larger inner and outer displays compared to the Pura X. It may also run on the Kirin 9030 series chipset. More details are likely to be revealed at the official launch event.
