Motorola has confirmed it will launch a new Razr smartphone on April 29. The announcement came through its official account on X, along with a short teaser video. The timing signals that the company is ready to refresh its foldable lineup once again.
Recent leaks have kept both the Motorola Razr 70 and the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra in the spotlight. Therefore, this official confirmation does not come as a surprise. Last year, the Motorola Razr 60 and the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra were also introduced in late April. So, the company appears to be following the same launch cycle.

According to earlier reports, the Razr 70 may look very similar to its predecessor. However, one key upgrade stands out. The device is expected to replace the 13MP ultrawide camera with a 50MP telephoto lens. This change could improve Zoom performance and overall camera flexibility.
Meanwhile, the Razr 70 Ultra might not bring many changes. Reports suggest it will remain mostly the same as the previous model. Still, it is said to feature a slightly bigger battery, increasing by 6% to reach 4,700 mAh. While this is a welcome upgrade, it may not be enough to excite users looking for major improvements.
For now, much depends on how accurate these leaks are. If they hold true, this launch could feel modest. Even so, with April 29 approaching, more official details should arrive soon.
