Vivo’s next foldable phone is starting to take shape as fresh leaks reveal key details ahead of launch. The Vivo X Fold6 is expected to debut within the next two months. If Vivo sticks to its usual timeline, the device could arrive in June.
Earlier reports from November suggested a powerful setup. At that time, the phone was rumored to include a 200MP camera and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. However, new information now points in a different direction. A recent leak claims the foldable will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC instead.
According to the source, the device will feature a large inner display. It is said to offer an 8.02-inch UTG screen with 2K resolution. On the outside, users may get a 6.51-inch display. These numbers are quite close to the vivo X Fold5, which includes a 6.53-inch cover screen and an 8.03-inch inner panel.
The camera setup also looks impressive on paper. The X Fold6 is expected to include a 200MP primary sensor. In addition, it may feature a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the device could offer 20MP cameras on both the inner and outer screens.
Battery life could be another strong point. The leak suggests a massive 7,000mAh battery with wireless charging support. On top of that, the foldable is also rumored to carry a full water resistance rating.
While Vivo has not confirmed these details yet, the steady flow of leaks hints that the official launch may not be far away.
