The federal government has officially announced Eid ul‑Azha holidays, confirming public leave on 26, 27 and 28 May after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification declaring Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays, applying to all government offices, private institutions and financial organizations.
The Prime Minister approved the holiday schedule, ensuring uniform observance, with the Cabinet Division directing immediate implementation across administrative departments and provincial authorities.
Eid ul‑Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday, 27 May, coinciding with Saudi Arabia and most Muslim countries marking the festival on the same date.
