Blainy, a startup from the National Incubation Center (NIC) Lahore, has officially secured a spot at the prestigious Plug and Play Tech Center in Silicon Valley, USA. This development marks a significant milestone for Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
Khalid B. founded Blainy to serve students, researchers, and professionals. The startup operates as an AI-powered academic writing and research assistant. It actively supports users by creating smarter writing, editing, and research workflows. Consequently, as artificial intelligence reshapes global industries, Blainy showcases the expanding potential of Pakistan’s local innovation landscape on the world stage.
This achievement highlights strong collaborative efforts across multiple organizations. The Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT) and Ignite – National Technology Fund provided vital leadership and continued support. Furthermore, the Pakistan Startup Fund and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) played key roles in empowering this milestone.
Additionally, corporate, academic, and incubation partners helped make this possible. NETSOL Technologies Limited, HBL, Beaconhouse National University, and the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore all contributed. Daftarkhwan and key individuals, specifically Ayub Ghauri and Salim Ghauri, also supported the initiative.
