The Lahore High Court has launched a project to install solar energy systems in session courts and other subordinate courts across Lahore to ensure uninterrupted judicial operations.
According to officials, each court will be equipped with a 4-kilowatt solar system aimed at minimizing the impact of power outages and electricity disruptions on court proceedings.
The initiative is expected to improve the reliability of electricity supply, allowing case hearings and other judicial activities to continue without interruption.
Sources said work on the project is progressing swiftly, with completion targeted for August this year.
A total of Rs. 186.2 million has been allocated for the installation of solar systems in subordinate courts under the project.
