RedMagic has confirmed the launch date for its next gaming tablet after its earlier announcement in May. The company will officially introduce the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro China on June 30.
This upcoming device follows the RedMagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro, which was later rebranded as the RedMagic Astra in global markets. Because of this naming pattern, the new model may also launch internationally as the RedMagic Astra 2, although the company has not confirmed this yet.
RedMagic has also shared official images of the tablet, showing it in two color options. In addition, the design reveals a built-in water cooling system. The cooling pipes are clearly visible on the back panel. The company says the tablet is designed to feel “incredibly comfortable to hold,” suggesting a focus on long gaming sessions.
On the performance side, leaks suggest strong flagship-level hardware. The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Moreover, it is rumored to include a 9-inch OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate. These specifications point toward a high-performance gaming-focused device aimed at demanding users. With its launch set for June 30, more official details are expected soon.
