Tecno has expanded its Slim series with the new Camon Slim. It joins the Pova Slim and Spark Slim, yet it carries its own design identity. The phone looks familiar in parts, but it stands out with a more stylish approach.
The Camon Slim uses a 6.39mm curved unibody design. It comes in five different finishes. The New Mondrian variant features a photochromic layer. When exposed to ultraviolet light, it reveals yellow, green, and cyan blocks on the back. This adds a shifting visual effect.
In addition, Prism Black and Jungle Green come with a 3D crystal diamond texture. Meanwhile, Van Gogh Blue brings a Starry Night inspired design on the back. It also uses a matte finish for a softer look.
Moreover, the device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. This makes it more durable in tough conditions. On the front, the Camon Slim features a 6.78-inch display. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 1224×2720 pixels. This setup targets smooth visuals and sharp detail.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio G200 processor. It is paired with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants. A 5,600mAh battery powers the device. It also supports 60W fast charging.
On the back, Tecno adds a unique LED panel between the dual camera lenses. This panel includes 354 LEDs. It supports 55 lighting scenes for different effects. A short video demo has also been shown.
Finally, Tecno plans to launch the Camon Slim in multiple markets. However, pricing and availability will vary by region and will be announced locally.
