Over 109,000 tourists entered Kaghan Valley on a single day during the summer holiday season, according to figures released by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority.
The influx included 30 foreign visitors, with arrivals continuing late into the night.
Kaghan Valley recorded the highest tourist footfall across the province. Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) staff have been deployed at multiple locations throughout the valley to assist and guide visitors.
The KDA administration has urged tourists to stay away from the Kunhar River and surrounding streams, and to avoid littering in order to preserve the valley’s natural environment.
