The Vivo X500 series is expected to launch in China later this year. Reports suggest the lineup will arrive around September. It may include the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. Now, a new leak has revealed key details about the rear camera system of the standard vivo X500.
According to the source, Vivo will make a major camera change with the upcoming phone. The vivo X500 will reportedly drop the 200MP main camera used on the vivo X300. Instead, it is expected to feature a 50MP Sony sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size.
The leak also claims the phone will include a 50MP ultrawide camera. In addition, it may pack a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. This sensor is said to measure 1/2.0 inches and offer a 70mm focal length.
Earlier reports have already revealed several other expected specifications. The Vivo X500 is rumored to feature a 6.37-inch display. It could also include a large 7,500mAh battery. Moreover, the device is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 9500-series chipset.
Meanwhile, rumors suggest vivo is working on more models in the X500 lineup. The company may also introduce the vivo X500e. Another report claims the flagship vivo X500 Ultra could debut alongside the X500e early next year.
While Vivo has not confirmed these details, more information is expected as the launch date approaches. Until then, these specifications should be treated as leaks.
