The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs34.33 per litre, raising the new retail price to Rs276.66 per litre.
According to an official notification, kerosene was previously priced at Rs242.33 per litre, making this one of the largest recent increases in the fuel’s price.
The revision comes alongside the latest increase in petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices announced by the federal government.
Following the notification, the price of petrol has increased by Rs5.44 per litre to Rs316.15 per litre, while high-speed diesel has gone up by Rs31.05 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs354.35 per litre.
OGRA said the revised petroleum product prices came into effect on July 18 and will remain applicable until July 20, unless revised by the government.
