The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced an online portal allowing citizens across the province to challenge and cancel wrongly issued e-challans without visiting any office.
The new system enables residents who believe they have received an incorrect traffic violation notice through camera-based monitoring to file a review request digitally, eliminating the need for in-person visits to PSCA offices.
Under the process, citizens must first log on to the official website, https://echallan.psca.gop.pk, and either register for a new account or sign in to an existing one. They can then access the Review Section on the portal and submit a form along with supporting documents and evidence backing their claim.
Once a request is submitted, a dedicated Safe City team examines the challan alongside the evidence provided by the applicant. If the review confirms that the e-challan was issued in error or due to a technical fault, the team cancels it permanently from the system within 24 hours.
The PSCA said the initiative is aimed at saving the time of citizens and improving transparency in the enforcement of traffic laws across the province.
