GWM Pakistan has removed the ORA 03 electric hatchback from its official vehicle lineup and booking portal, indicating that the model may no longer be available to customers in Pakistan.
The company has not yet issued a formal statement confirming the discontinuation. However, the removal of the ORA 03 from both the official lineup and booking platform suggests that GWM Pakistan has stopped offering the electric hatchback in the local market.
Sazgar Engineering Works Limited introduced the ORA 03 in Pakistan in 2024 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
The electric hatchback was launched with a price tag of Rs. 8.999 million, positioning it in the premium segment of Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market.
The model is now absent from GWM Pakistan’s current ORA lineup, which includes newer electric vehicles.
GWM Pakistan has introduced the ORA 05 Electric SUV and ORA 07 Electric Sedan, which are now among the company’s local ORA offerings.
The arrival of these newer models appears to have reduced the ORA 03’s position in the company’s lineup, although GWM Pakistan has not officially explained the reason behind its removal.
GWM Pakistan has not disclosed whether the ORA 03 was discontinued because of sales performance, pricing or other market factors.
The model’s relatively high price, limited demand, resale concerns and Pakistan’s developing EV charging infrastructure could have affected its market performance. However, these factors have not been confirmed by the company.
The removal of the ORA 03 comes as Pakistan’s electric vehicle market continues to develop, with automakers increasingly adjusting their product lineups based on consumer demand and prevailing market conditions.
For now, the ORA 03’s removal from GWM Pakistan’s official lineup and booking portal indicates that the electric hatchback is no longer being actively offered in the country, pending an official statement from the company.
