The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Tuesday, September 8, due to annual maintenance and construction work on its electricity network.
Several areas under the Islamabad Operation Circle will experience temporary electricity suspensions at different times throughout the day as IESCO carries out maintenance and development work.
Consumers in various areas of the Rawalpindi City Operation Circle will also face scheduled power outages. The shutdowns will take place at different times according to IESCO’s maintenance schedule.
The Rawalpindi Cantt Operation Circle is also included in Tuesday’s scheduled power suspension plan, with affected areas facing temporary electricity disruptions.
IESCO has advised consumers in the affected areas to plan their activities accordingly and cooperate with the company while maintenance and construction work is underway.
The scheduled shutdowns are intended to facilitate annual maintenance and improvements to the electricity distribution network in the twin cities.
