The Engineering Development Board (EDB) is undergoing a significant leadership transition. On the direct orders of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, authorities have placed the Chief Executive Officer of the EDB, Hamad Ali Mansoor, on forced leave. Currently, a high-level departmental inquiry against him remains pending. Following this development, the government assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) EDB to Faisal Nisar Chaudhry. Faisal Chaudhry is a Grade-20 officer who belongs to the Secretariat Group. He has now formally assumed charge of the position. Immediately after taking over, Chaudhry organized an introductory meeting with the officers and staff of the Engineering Development Board.
Addressing the participants, the new CEO EDB, Faisal Nisar Chaudhry, shared his vision for the organization. He stated that the progress of the institution ultimately means the progress of everyone associated with it. Furthermore, he strongly emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation, teamwork, and collective efforts. He believes these core elements will further strengthen the EDB and enhance its overall effectiveness.
Ultimately, Chaudhry expressed his full resolve to work closely with all officers and staff members. His primary goal is to drive the institutional improvement of the EDB and enable the organization to achieve its objectives effectively.
