The upcoming Vivo X500 has appeared in the Geekbench online database ahead of its official launch. The listing reveals key details about the phone’s performance and software. The device carries the model number V2609A. It scored 2,694 points in the single-core test. Meanwhile, its multi-core score reached 7,770 points. The benchmark was run using Geekbench 6.7.1 for Android.
The listing also confirms a MediaTek chipset, although its exact name remains unclear. The phone could use the newly announced Dimensity 9600M. However, it may also feature last year’s Dimensity 9500. The two chips have similar specifications, making the benchmark listing difficult to identify. More details may surface as vivo gets closer to the launch.
The tested X500 prototype came with 12GB of RAM. Vivo could still release additional memory and storage variants. The phone is also listed with Android 17, with OriginOS 7 running on top. Meanwhile, the Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will use the newer Dimensity 9600 Pro. This is MediaTek’s current flagship chipset. The standard X500 will use a lower-end chip to keep its price down.
Vivo will officially unveil the X500 series in China on September 21. The launch will include the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max.
