The Sindh Public Service Commission has issued a show-cause notice to its suspended Additional Controller of Examinations following the disappearance of sensitive examination material, room keys, and official documents.
Commission Secretary Riaz Ahmad Jakhrani confirmed the development, stating that the official, Imtiaz Ahmed Jagirani, had been instructed on September 14 and 15 to formally hand over all Commission property, including examination records and room keys, following his suspension.
He failed to comply in full.
Keys to seven rooms numbers 34, 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, and 41 remain unreturned, and the Commission has been unable to locate the examination materials and documents that were stored in connection with them.
In the notice, Jagirani has been directed to produce the missing keys, materials, and documents within seven days, along with a written explanation for their disappearance. The Commission has not yet indicated what action it will take if he fails to respond within the given timeframe.
