Honor will launch the X9e Pro in Malaysia on September 24, according to the company’s official Malaysia website. The phone has already appeared in several social media teasers ahead of its launch. The teasers have revealed some details about the upcoming handset. Honor will offer the X9e Pro in Dawn Gold, Midnight Black, Reddish Brown, and Royal Purple.
Durability is another focus of the teasers. Honor has shown the phone being submerged in hot water. This suggests the X9e Pro is built to handle harsh conditions, although full durability ratings remain unclear. The X9e Pro will also feature a dual-camera setup on the back. A 108MP primary sensor will lead the camera system, while details about the second sensor have not been confirmed.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian news outlet has shared more specifications for the phone. The report claims the X9e Pro will pack a large 11,000mAh battery. The battery will support 80W wired fast charging. That combination could make the phone appealing to users who prioritize battery life and quick charging.
The display is also expected to be a major feature. According to the report, the screen can reach a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. Honor has yet to reveal the complete specifications of the X9e Pro. More details should be confirmed when the phone officially launches in Malaysia on September 24.
