Jaecoo has unveiled the J5 BEV Premium Plus at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026, introducing a locally assembled electric crossover with a claimed 461km NEDC range, 207.8 horsepower and a 58.9kWh battery.
The J5 BEV Premium Plus is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing 155kW, or 207.8hp, and 288Nm of torque. The front-wheel-drive crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.7 seconds and offers Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes.
The vehicle is equipped with a 58.9kWh battery and supports up to 11kW AC charging and 130kW DC fast charging. An 11kW charger is included with the vehicle. It also features a 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system for powering compatible external devices.
The J5 BEV measures 4,380mm in length, 1,860mm in width and 1,650mm in height, with a 2,620mm wheelbase and 184mm ground clearance. It provides 480 litres of luggage space, which can be expanded by folding the rear seats in a 60:40 configuration.
Exterior features include LED headlights and rear lamps, automatic high and low beams, LED daytime running lights, heated and electrically folding mirrors, roof rails, an electric tailgate and 18-inch wheels. The crossover also comes with a 1.45-square-metre panoramic roof.
Inside, the Premium Plus features a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker audio system. Other features include 50W wireless charging, multi-colour ambient lighting, powered front seats and ventilation for both front seats.
Comfort features include dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, remote tailgate operation and four power windows.
For safety, the J5 BEV Premium Plus comes with multiple airbags, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Brake Assist, Traction Control, Electronic Stability Program, Hill-Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring and ISOFIX anchors.
The vehicle also offers an extensive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) package, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Blind-Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Emergency Lane Keeping.
A 540-degree HD panoramic camera system, along with front and rear parking sensors, is also included.
Jaecoo is offering a six-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, whichever comes first, while the high-voltage battery is covered for eight years or 160,000km.
The J5 BEV Premium Plus is positioned as one of the more feature-rich electric crossovers at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026. However, its real-world range, charging performance and overall road performance will depend on driving conditions, weather, traffic and other factors.
