The federal government has reduced the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), according to the latest update from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 2.27 per litre, bringing it down from Rs. 391.30 to Rs. 389.03 per litre.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs. 3.56 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 404.97 per litrefrom Rs. 408.53.

The latest reduction follows daily revisions in petroleum prices. Since the start of the daily fuel pricing mechanism, petrol has increased by Rs. 78.32 per litre, while diesel has risen by Rs. 81.67 per litre.

The revised prices will remain applicable under the current daily fuel pricing mechanism.
