Xiaomi recently launched the 18 Pro series in China. However, the standard Xiaomi 18 was missing from the launch event. The base model is now expected to arrive separately in December. A tipster has shared what could be the phone’s full specifications.
According to the source on Weibo, the Xiaomi 18 will feature two 200MP rear cameras. This would give it a similar camera setup to the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max.
The main camera is tipped to use a 1/1.28-inch 200MP sensor. It could be joined by a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone is also expected to include a 50MP ultrawide camera. This would give the Xiaomi 18 a three-camera setup on the rear.
The Xiaomi 18 is said to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. The phone could also feature a 6.4-inch M11 display with a 1.5K resolution. Powering the device could be a large 7,200mAh battery. The battery is also tipped to support 100W wired charging.
For now, these specifications remain unconfirmed by Xiaomi. However, the same tipster has repeated that the standard Xiaomi 18 will launch in December.
