Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute Honahar Scholarships and laptops to students at the University of Sahiwal on October 15, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced.
The first ceremony will cover students from the Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan districts. Hayat made the announcement in a social media post.
The provincial government will hold similar ceremonies in all nine divisions during October and November. Hayat said the remaining events will follow in the coming weeks, and he expressed hope that the schedule would be completed within the stated timeframe.
The minister did not disclose how many scholarships or laptops will be distributed at each ceremony.
