Oppo’s rumored wide-screen flagship smartphone has surfaced in a new leak, revealing details about its display and dimensions. The device, reportedly called the Reno X, could feature a 16:9 display and an 85mm-wide body.
According to the source, it claims the phone will have narrow bezels measuring around 1mm on all sides. The screen itself is said to be 81mm wide, while the phone’s overall width could reach 85mm. A 16:9 aspect ratio was common on older smartphones. However, most modern phones now use taller displays with 19.5:9 or 20:9 aspect ratios.
The source previously suggested that Oppo’s phone would feature a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The latest leak points to a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen instead. Meanwhile, Huawei’s Pura X View remains the only wide-screen, non-folding smartphone currently on the market. It features a 5:3 display and an 87mm-wide body.
Based on these rumored dimensions, Oppo’s upcoming phone could be slightly taller and narrower than Huawei’s offering. However, its final specifications remain unconfirmed.
