Apple has added replacement parts and repair tools for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to its Self-Service Repair Store. The company has also listed parts for the M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio, along with the M6 and M5 Pro Mac mini models.
The move follows Apple’s expansion of partnerships with American suppliers for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. Customers in eligible regions can now order parts to repair supported devices themselves, including replacement components for the latest iPhones.
Available iPhone parts include back glass, batteries, speakers, cameras, displays, enclosures, front cameras, logic boards, main microphones, SIM trays, and Taptic Engines. Apple also sells the tools and supplies required for each repair, including adhesive cutters, suction cups, nylon probes, adhesive removal tools, torque drivers, and screws.
The replacement camera costs $249, matching the price for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. However, the iPhone 18 Pro models feature a variable aperture system. Customers who return their original camera receive a $59.76 credit, reducing the effective replacement cost to $189.24.
Display replacements are priced at $329 for the iPhone 18 Pro and $379 for the Pro Max. Apple offers smaller return credits of $16.45 and $18.95, respectively, for the original displays.
Battery replacements cost $129 for both models. Returning the original battery earns customers a $61.92 credit, bringing the final cost down to $67.08. However, the Pro Max battery is still listed as “Coming Soon.”
Back glass replacements cost $159 for either model or $120.84 after the return credit. Meanwhile, a replacement front camera costs $199, dropping to $151.24 after the credit. Customers can also rent Apple’s repair tool kit for seven days for $49.
Apple has expanded its repair parts catalogue for its desktop Macs as well. The Mac Studio now has replacement components for Thunderbolt and USB-C ports, fans, speakers, SSD modules, logic boards, and power supplies. The Mac mini has a shorter list of available parts, including fans, speakers, logic boards, and power supplies, among other components.
Apple launched its Self Service Repair program in 2022 to give customers access to genuine replacement parts and repair tools. People in eligible regions can purchase the required equipment or rent it for supported repairs.
The company also provides official repair manuals with step-by-step instructions for replacing supported components. This allows customers with the necessary skills and tools to handle certain repairs without visiting an authorized service provider.
