Pakistani technology companies recently showcased innovative digital solutions and explored lucrative enterprise partnerships with American businesses during the Pakistan–US Tech Connect 2026 conference in Chicago. The event marked a major milestone in strengthening commercial ties between the two nations, drawing robust participation from technology leaders, policymakers, and Midwest business executives.
The high-profile Chicago gathering served as the final stop of a comprehensive US tour that previously spanned Silicon Valley, Dallas, and Washington, D.C. Organized jointly by the Pakistani Embassy, the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) Global, the initiative highlighted Pakistan’s rapidly expanding digital economy and rising export potential.
Addressing the audience, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the vast potential for bilateral technology cooperation. He drew attention to Pakistan’s youthful demographics, encouraging US corporations to leverage high-quality human capital at competitive operating costs. PSEB CEO Faisal Jeddy further briefed attendees on Pakistan’s thriving IT landscape, spotlighting skilled professionals and the nation’s growing capacity to deliver advanced digital solutions.
Prominent Pakistani tech enterprises delivered presentations outlining their technical capabilities. These included:
- Systems Limited

The panel discussions focused heavily on helping domestic firms scale enterprise partnerships in the American middle market and navigate complex market-entry strategies. Local US officials, including Illinois State Representative Justin Slaughter and State Senator Laura Murphy, welcomed the delegation, praising the cross-border collaboration.
This international outreach arrives on the heels of remarkable sectoral growth. IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja confirmed that Pakistan’s technology exports reached a record $4.6 billion in the fiscal year ending June 2026, marking a 21% increase from the previous year.
“Networking sessions enabled Midwest companies and the visiting delegation to discuss business needs, identify potential partners and explore follow-up engagements,” the Pakistani ministry said. “A session on moving beyond outsourcing explored what US enterprise buyers and investors seek in Pakistani technology companies.”
Through sustained global engagements like the Tech Connect tour, Islamabad continues to position itself as a trusted destination for technological innovation.
