Rockstar continues to heavily support Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online with fresh content. Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is confirmed to launch without an online mode. Therefore, fans must rely on the current game for multiplayer mayhem for the foreseeable future. This ongoing support brings particularly good news for PC gamers, who face a longer wait for GTA 6 than console players. Fortunately, a massive new update is right around the corner.
The highly anticipated “Kortz Center Heist” will officially arrive in GTA Online on July 14. This update delivers a brand-new art museum heist, large financial payouts, and special home decorations.
What You Need to Know About the GTA Online “Kortz Center Heist”
This section contains spoilers!
Players can tackle this new heist alongside up to three friends. To kick things off, Mansion owners must contact Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis. Next, players will move through the standard heist phases. Your crew will stake out the site, build an array of necessary tools, and finally execute the plan.
However, this specific mission introduces a unique twist. You will work directly with a counterfeiter. Together, you must create forged versions of the museum’s artwork. During the heist, your crew will swap these fakes for the genuine pieces.
Afterward, players face a unique choice. You can either sell the real paintings for large payouts or hang them inside your Mansion. Furthermore, Rockstar will rotate three new paintings into the game as stealable targets each week.
Requirements & Rewards
Like previous updates, this heist includes specific prerequisites. The heist leader must own a GTA Online Mansion. Additionally, the host must purchase the brand-new Art Studio expansion. Fortunately, these strict requirements only apply to the host. You do not need to own a Mansion or an Art Studio to join another player’s heist.
To celebrate the launch, Rockstar is handing out several massive rewards. However, you must act fast. Today is July 10, and you must claim most of these bonuses on or before July 13.
First, anyone who logs in prior to July 13 will receive a flat GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo sedan. Moreover, if you play any existing heist during this exact timeframe, you will unlock a free NOOSE outfit and score an extra GTA$1 million bonus.
Meanwhile, Mansion owners receive even better early-bird perks. If you log in on or before July 13, you earn a massive GTA$1 million discount on the new Art Studio expansion. You also secure a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a Kortz Center sculpture, and early access to a high-value painting. You can choose to keep or sell this specific artwork.
Finally, GTA+ members will enjoy exclusive vehicle access. Starting on release day, July 14, subscribers can claim the brand-new Grotti Veleno GT for free. This perk gives GTA+ members a full week of exclusive access to the vehicle before it unlocks for the general playerbase.
