ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has appointed Major General (Retired) Ali Farhan as the new Managing Director of the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC), according to an official notification.
Approved by the Prime Minister, the appointment falls under the Management Position (MP-I) Scale and is valid for three years from the date he assumes office. His appointment will follow the terms outlined in the MP Scales Policy, 2020.
NTC, operating under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, is responsible for delivering secure and reliable communication services to the government sector across the country.
With his extensive experience in leadership and technical operations, Mr. Farhan is expected to contribute significantly to the strategic growth and operational efficiency of the organization.
The notification has been distributed to the relevant ministries and offices, including the President’s Secretariat and the Press Information Department, for further action and publication in the Gazette of Pakistan.
