Another Major Pak City Gets Direct Flight To Dubai

DUBAI: flydubai has announced it will launch daily flights connecting Dubai and Peshawar starting May 15, 2025, further expanding direct air access between the UAE and another major city in Pakistan. The new service will operate between Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 2 (DXB) and Bacha Khan International Airport (PEW), commonly referred to as Peshawar Airport.

The move strengthens flydubai’s growing footprint in Pakistan, where the airline has been expanding steadily since it first introduced flights to Karachi in 2010. Peshawar joins the list of Pakistani cities already served by flydubai, including Faisalabad, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot, marking another major Pak city getting a direct flight to Dubai.

flydubai stated that the daily flights will offer greater convenience for travelers from the UAE and surrounding areas seeking direct access to northwestern Pakistan. The airline aims to cater to both business and leisure passengers with this new route.

As per the airline’s fare details, round-trip Business Class tickets from Dubai to Peshawar will start at AED 5,270, while Economy Class Lite fares will be available from AED 1,300. Meanwhile, return flights from Peshawar to Dubai will cost approximately PKR 391,600 for Business Class and PKR 104,950 for Economy Class Lite.

The addition of Peshawar to flydubai’s network is expected to significantly boost air connectivity, offering more travel options between Dubai and another major Pak city through direct flights.
