Apple has completed its biggest events of the year, including WWDC and the iPhone 17 launch, but more devices are lined up before 2025 ends. The upcoming launches include an upgraded Apple TV with the A17 Pro chip, a powerful M5 iPad Pro, a refreshed Vision Pro headset, the long-awaited HomePod mini update, AirTag 2 with extended range, and possibly a new MacBook Pro model.
According to market rumours, Apple unveils new hardware in October or November. In some years, announcements arrive through an event, while in others, press releases are used. With focus mainly on internal performance improvements, Apple aims to strengthen gaming, AI features, and smart home integration before moving into its major 2026 MacBook OLED refresh.
Apple TV 2025
The new Apple TV will feature the A17 Pro processor, the same chip used in iPhone 15 Pro, supporting Apple Intelligence, advanced GPU performance with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and the N1 wireless chip for faster Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 6GHz networks. Gaming will be boosted to console-level quality, while Apple may lower its price to compete with rivals like Amazon Fire Stick that costs under $50.
iPad Pro M5
The iPad Pro M5 will come in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes with up to 12 percent faster CPU, 36 percent faster GPU, and 12GB RAM compared to 8GB in the M4 model. Early leaks suggest up to 36% stronger performance benchmarks and the possibility of dual front cameras for both portrait and landscape video calls.
Vision Pro with M5
The Vision Pro headset will replace its M2 chip with the new M5, promising smoother graphics and efficiency. While the design will remain unchanged, Apple may offer an improved head strap to reduce neck strain.
HomePod mini
The HomePod mini, unchanged since 2020, will finally get the S10 chip from Apple Watch Series 11, providing faster real-time audio tuning and better on-device Siri performance. It will also support the N1 networking chip and arrive in new color options for variety.
AirTag 2
The AirTag 2 will maintain its compact shape but introduce a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, tripling the tracking range. Apple has also made it harder to tamper with the speaker, ensuring stronger anti-stalking protections.
MacBook Pro M5
The MacBook Pro may see a base model powered by the M5 chip this year, while higher-end M5 Pro and M5 Max versions could follow in early 2026. If delayed, Apple risks overlap with the OLED MacBook Pro, scheduled for late 2026.
With these updates, Apple’s 2025 roadmap is set to deliver significant performance jumps across entertainment, productivity, and everyday tracking devices, keeping users within its ecosystem while preparing for bigger changes in 2026.
