Apple is reportedly preparing major AI upgrades for iOS 27, set to debut in June 2026 and release in September. Recent details from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reveal that Apple Intelligence will feature an AI-powered web search tool in the upcoming update.
According to Gurman, the company is also planning a visual redesign for Siri. The assistant will gain AI enhancements with iOS 26.4, expected next spring. However, the new interface will arrive later with iOS 27, aligning with Apple’s broader AI strategy.
In addition, Apple is developing an AI health agent that will assist users through the company’s upcoming Health+ service. The feature is likely to be subscription-based, expanding Apple’s push into personalized wellness technology.
If the project succeeds, Gurman notes, Apple could become one of the first major tech players to make significant progress in the health AI chatbot market.
