Embark Studios has officially launched the Week 6 Trials Challenges for their hit extraction shooter, ARC Raiders. The update went live yesterday, December 1, marking the start of a new month and a fresh competitive week. Players have until Monday, December 8, to secure high scores and climb the community leaderboards.
The Trials system remains a core way to earn rewards. Each challenge utilises a three-star rating system. Depending on your performance, you can unlock Uncommon, Rare, and Epic packs. Furthermore, high placement on the leaderboard grants additional cosmetic items.
The new rotation includes five specific objectives. While some are straightforward, others require strategy. The Week 6 challenges are:
Most veterans will find damaging “Hornets” and destroying “Pops” easy, as these enemies appear frequently on all maps. However, two challenges stand out in difficulty this week.
First, damaging Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions can be dangerous. These are some of the game’s deadliest enemies. To earn three stars here, jump into a Night Raid. ARC enemies spawn at a much higher rate during these raids, making it easier to locate these specific targets.
Second, opening ARC Probes relies heavily on random spawn rates. To maximise your efficiency, play during the “Prospecting Probes” map modifier. This limited-time raid type increases the number of probes on the map. This modifier appears on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Blue Gate, and Spaceport.
Despite the rewards, community sentiment is mixed. Players are expressing fatigue over repetitive objectives. Some users on Reddit have criticised the system as absolute trash and lame, calling for a complete overhaul. Additionally, solo players feel at a disadvantage compared to groups who can rack up points together more easily.
Embark Studios has not commented on this feedback yet. However, the ARC Raiders Roadmap for 2025 promises a major content drop soon. The “Cold Snap” patch is scheduled for release later this month. Fans can look forward to a Snowfall Map Condition, a new event, a fresh Raider Deck, and the very first Expedition.
