The new update reduces horizontal momentum when jumping out of a slide. It also penalizes consecutive jumps by lowering jump height after repeated chains. On top of that, firing while jumping or sliding now causes greater inaccuracy, discouraging aggressive exploitative play.
These changes bring Battlefield 6’s movement more in line with its traditional, grounded gameplay style; a core appeal for long-time fans.
Smoother Animations and Better Flow
