Battlefield 6 is gearing up for its next big content update. The game has officially revealed its new Eastwood map, coming in just two days. The shooter launched last month to massive success. It peaked at nearly 750,000 players shortly after release. Since then, EA and DICE have continued to roll out updates at a rapid pace. Now, the studio is preparing to introduce a brand-new battleground.
Battlefield 6 shared a teaser for the Eastwood map on its official X account:
The short teaser gives players a quick look at the Hollywood-inspired setting. Eastwood takes clear cues from Los Angeles. It features sunny streets, lavish mansions, and wide-open Californian views. The trailer shows players fighting across a full golf course. It also confirms the arrival of a new golf cart vehicle. All modes will support the new map when it launches.
Battlefield 6 will release Eastwood on Tuesday, November 18.
Battlefield 6 already offers more than 10 maps. These maps cover a wide mix of environments. Players can jump into close-quarters city battles on the Manhattan Bridge. They can also explore large open areas in Operation Firestorm. The Portal system expands this even further. It lets the community build and experiment with custom maps.
Eastwood is not the first major American city setting in the game. Manhattan Bridge and the Empire State also reflect New York City. Outside the US, Siege of Cairo brings players into tight city streets inspired by the Egyptian capital.
The Eastwood update marks only part of what is coming. A recent datamine points to as many as nine new game modes in development. These include Convoy, Tug of War, Payload, and several others.
The launch of Eastwood will also begin Phase 2 of Season 1. This phase introduces the limited-time “Sabotage” mode. It also brings updates to RedSec, the shooter’s battle royale mode.
Battlefield 6 players have a lot to look forward to this week. With Eastwood dropping on November 18 and more modes teased, the next phase of the game is shaping up to be a busy one.
