LAHORE: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 ticketing website crashed on Tuesday as online sales opened, overwhelmed by an unprecedented surge in demand. Frustrated cricket fans reported facing significant difficulties in securing their tickets.
Although fans have shown a lot of interest, the website’s computers struggled to handle the high traffic, causing problems with making purchases.
To address the issue, efforts are underway to enhance server capacity. Fans who successfully purchased tickets can collect their physical copies from private courier company offices starting February 3.
Most matches will be held in Pakistan, and India’s matches are scheduled to take place in the UAE.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced ticket prices for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, offering a range of options for fans based on venue, seating category, and match significance.
For Pakistan’s matches, ticket prices start at PKR 2,000 for general stands and go up to PKR 20,000 for VIP stands. For non-Pakistan matches, prices range from PKR 1,000 to PKR 7,000. The semi-final in Lahore is priced at PKR 2,500 for general stands and PKR 20,000 for VIP seating.
To accommodate different preferences, tickets will be available in various categories, including General Enclosure, First Class, Premium, VIP, VVIP, and Gallery.
