Chinas Xpeng G6 To Enter Pakistans Electric Vehicle Market

China’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, XPENG, is preparing to enter Pakistan, signaling a significant step in the country’s rapidly growing EV sector. The company plans to introduce its G6 coupe-SUV, combining long-range performance with advanced rapid charging technology.

The move comes as Pakistan increasingly promotes electric mobility, offering incentives for EV adoption to reduce carbon emissions and fuel dependence. XPENG’s entry reflects growing confidence in the country’s infrastructure and market potential for premium EVs.

An XPENG spokesperson highlighted,

“Pakistan represents an important growth market in our global expansion strategy, and we aim to bring advanced electric mobility solutions to local customers.”

The XPENG G6 is built on the 800-volt SEPA 2.0 platform, supporting rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Available internationally with 66 kWh and 87.5 kWh battery packs, it offers a WLTP range of 435–570 km depending on the configuration.

The vehicle comes in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all wheel drive (AWD) options, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 6.6–6.2 seconds for RWD models, and around 4 seconds for AWD. The five-seat cabin features a 2,890 mm wheelbase, 571 liters of cargo space, and a modern digital interior consistent with XPENG’s global standards.

Pricing, local availability, and exact launch dates in Pakistan are yet to be confirmed.
