CIRCLE Women Tech Karo program successfully concludes with 50 graduates

Circle Women is dedicated to women empowerment in technology through entrepreneurship and leadership labs and their latest program titled “Tech Karo” was no different. The program successfully ended on 19th January at Karachi School of Business and Leadership and the Chief Guest of the event was British Deputy High Commissioner Elin Burns. Jahangir Paracha CEO Engro Vopak, Tahira Raza former President First Women Bank, Dr. Zahir Syed Vice Chancellor Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) and Dr. Shoaib Zaidi Professor and Head of Academics at UIT were also present at the graduation ceremony.

The program candidates were given exposure to different web development environments and taught coding alongside other professional skills that are required in the corporate environment nowadays. 62% of the graduates were female which was the highlight of the event and around 30 graduates have been placed on internships with companies such as 10 Pearls and Ibex Global after receiving tech mentorship in the program.

Sadaffe Abid, Founder CIRCLE said during the occasion:
