Citizens across Pakistan can now report cybercrimes through Police Emergency Helpline 15 following the integration of police emergency call systems with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
NCCIA Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said emergency helpline systems operating across provinces and major cities have been connected with the agency to make cybercrime reporting easier and improve access to complaint services.
Under the new arrangement, cybercrime complaints received through Helpline 15 will be forwarded automatically to the relevant NCCIA zones for further legal action. The system covers complaints involving cyber harassment, online fraud, data theft and other digital crimes.
Rizvi described the integration as an important step toward improving coordination between police departments and the NCCIA. The initiative aims to simplify the complaint process, ensure complaints reach the relevant authorities and support faster responses to reported cybercrime incidents.
