DIRBS Mobile Registration Service Unavailable for 12 Hours Starting January 24

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced that its Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS) will undergo scheduled maintenance from 8:00 PM on January 24, 2025, to 8:00 AM on January 25, 2025. During this 12-hour period, the DIRBS platform will be temporarily unavailable for mobile device registration and related services.

DIRBS is an essential framework established by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to detect and prohibit non-compliant mobile devices, thereby fostering a secure and regulated telecommunications landscape in Pakistan.
